OVERALL STORY: I really enjoyed this story. I love how they mix both the romantic story and the PTSD from the childhood kidnapping. Which I am going to start with that because that was one of the most terrifying and intense parts of the whole show. When you find out what happened and how truly awful it is... it's heartbreaking. Those young kids being trapped there and then watching that woman commit suicide. It was a darker part of the show that I did not expect but it gave it depth. I thought that the plot developed nicely. The romance plot was realistic and it was fun to see the stories interweave. I also loved the company setting it was super cute! That little group of coworkers is adorable!
MAIN COUPLE: One of my favorite things about this couple is, like the couple from Love O2O, the lack of drama. They don't have the lack of fighting that the Love O2O couple has but they don't have any break up plot points. Once they are together that's it. Which after watching a lot of breakups is such a relief to me. And they are super precious! They are awkwardly adorable with each other and the flirting is the freaking best. I especially love how caring and sensitive they are to each other. They are such a sweet couple. Oh my gosh I also LOVED the proposal. It was the cutest and most touching thing ever. I was crying tears of fangirl joy I'm telling you.
OTHER COUPLES: There were quite a few secondary couples in this show. Which can I just say was super amazing. One of my favorites is between two people at the company. He saved her numerous times and every single time this dramatic music would play and I would freaking die. And then the way he asked her out!? So cute! He got a coke bottle and as she was drinking it the message appeared asking her to be his girlfriend. I swooned so hard. Another couple that I wish had, had some more screen time also takes place at the office. However besides that they live next door to each other which is a recipe for romance! He finally got over himself and asked her out in THE LAST EPISODE. I was swooning but I was also frustrated because I wish we had gotten more. Lastly I kind of wished Park Yoo-sik would get together with his secretary but he got back together with his ex-wife and they were....alright.
KIM MI SOO: Overall as a main character I loved her. There were moments that I was annoyed with her because heavens just decide what you want! And stop making things so confusing! All of that aside I really did like her. She had a solid head on her shoulders and didn't take crap from people. Also she was super intelligent I was very impressed with the things she did as a secretary. Dang I wish I had a mind like her's. She was caring and compassionate to everyone in her life.
LEE YOUNG-JOON: I have yet to see anyone be as egotistical as this guy is. But the funny thing about that is it suddenly became endearing as the show went on. He is equally sweet and arrogant which is an odd mix to be sure but somehow it works for him. I really adored him as the main lead and I love his growth as a character. He made me laugh and he made me cry. There was this depth to his character that you don't expect especially when you come to understand his PTSD. He has gone through a lot but underneath that apparently "perfect" exterior (his words not mine) there is a soft heart.
PARK YOO-SIK: THIS GUY WAS ME 99% OF THE TIME IN THE SHOW. His reactions to everything were one of the best parts and I kind of loved all of the scenes he was in. He was just so funny and (for me) so relatable. I too laugh at bad jokes. And give relationship advice even though I'm not in one. And he is lamenting about his problems all the time which is very me. I really did love this character.
LEE SUNG-YEON: I hated him for the majority of the show. Literally up until the last episode. But then I loved him so that is case and point on how fast feelings can change. I thought he was really annoying in the first part of the show mostly because he was beyond rude to Lee Young- Joon and I am unwaveringly loyal. And then he tried to take Kim Mi Soo away from Young- Joon? Ultimate loser move. But it completely failed anyway so maybe I shouldn't hold it against him. But then when he found out that he actually wasn't the one who was kidnapped he was still rude to Young-joon and was being a total brat about it. He did apologize but jeez! But in the end he gave the best proposal advice ever so it redeemed him.

"What was I thinking, wanting to keep you by my side? I thought we'd always be together like that. Then I realized it for the first time, that I'd never be able to let you go. You were the one I needed from the start." - Lee Young- Joon
