Just You

Character Glossary:
Liang Liang: Main Character
Qi Yi: CEO of the company
Dean: Liason from another company
Ding Jiayu: Qi Yi's ex girlfriend
Just You was cuter than I thought it would be. I watched the first episode and I was mildly curious cause he seemed so closed off so I wanted to see how this couple would work out. Just You follow Liang Liang who gets the surprise of her life when a guy shows up at her front door saying she has to move out because he has bought the house she was renting. She adamantly refuses saying her lease isn't up for three months. He moves in anyway saying he will make her move out. The next day he shows up at her work with the announcement that he is the new CEO. The animosity from their shared quarters spreads to work especially when he activates an Anti Office Romance Policy. With so much between them how can they end up together?

OVERALL STORY: The story was pretty well written. I did enjoy the plot twists and the way the story went. I felt like it didn't just bring the main couple together but the whole office. The plot actually developed a lot and I thought that it did really well in increasing the tension. There was a lot of growth in a lot of characters and I liked how the show kept everything interesting. It had no shortage of plot twists.
MAIN COUPLE: OH. MY. HEAVENS. They are so cute! She is so innocent and naive and she needs someone to protect her. But he pushed her to become more outgoing and to fight for what she wants! It is a great combination and their moments are cute. Although he hates living with her at first after a while he can't live without her. She brings this light into his life and makes him feel again. She taught him to love again and that is pretty precious.
OTHER COUPLES: There are a lot of other couples in this show. There is the one between a guy named Alex and Liang Liang's best friend. They were about to get married but with the Anti Office Romance Policy... that changed quickly because he's a coward. But seeing them fall in love again was pretty great especially because I wasn't in support of it at first. Another is between Princess (Another one of Liang Liang's friends) and this bartender dude. We didn't see much with them but they were together and their flirting was pretty great. Another couple was these two in the office. The guy had liked the girl forever but she wanted to marry a rich guy in order to pay back her mothers debt. But she learned to appreciate his sensitive nature and they got together. Lastly we get a relationship between Jiayu and this other guy which was unexpected but I was glad it happened.
LIANG LIANG: She was naive for the longest time and I think because of that her gaining new knowledge and new understanding occurred. She had a lot of growth to go through but while her understanding deepened she never lost sight of her sunny attitude. She is definitely someone to aspire to be like.
QI YI: He went through a lot of growth too. I thought that he was super indecisive at times and should have fought for Liang Liang a lot earlier but I guess I understood his hesitation. And when he was protective, he was protective. I was really impressed with his growth and change throughout the story. And how although he was a jerk at times he still respected people.
DEAN: To be entirely honest with you I hated Dean at first. He was totally trying to be the cannonball that destroyed my ship but over time he became like Lei from Meteor Garden. That ultimate friend and the one I could rely on to protect and watch over Liang Liang when things got difficult between her and Qi Yi. He was really a blessing in disguise.
DING JIAYU: I REALLY HATED HER. She kept doing awful things in order to get back together with Qi Yi who she ABANDONED. By the end all I felt was pity which is feeling like a trend with a lot of the so called bad guys I run into in these shows. But she really did just want to be loved and she wanted that with Qi Yi again. Although she was the worst she did inspire Liang Liang to fight for what she wants for which I am forever grateful.
