The Miracle is about two sisters who end up switching bodies after a fateful encounter with a tarot reader. As they are forced to navigate each other's lives they learn more about each other and themselves.

Hello again! I did not think I would be writing another review this soon but here I am. I started this show because it was super short (12 episodes and each episode is maybe 15 min long) and so I started and finished today. The Miracle is a good idea for a show. But I think I would have liked this show a lot more if there had actually been more depth to the show. Due to the duration of the show I know they did not have as much time to dive deep into things but, as a viewer, I felt a little jilted. There are so many characters I want to understand more.... But even though I gave this show a lower rating I still recommend to anyone looking for a short, sweet show.

OVERALL STORY: Like I mentioned before I felt like the plot really suffered because of what it could have been. So many things were rushed that it just didn't have the impact that it could have. The main plot of the show is between the two sisters. And I was grateful for the growth we get to see in their relationship. It would have been so much more interesting to have been able to really get to know them as characters. AND to have them spend more time together. I am normally a romance person but I wish they would have stepped back from the romance to give more spot light to the sisters. I also wish we could have seen more of Si ah's storyline after the switch. She was hilarious and I felt like her scenes were a lot more interesting. I would have loved to see that actually become a bigger part of the overall story. It didn't seem to give Si ah the effect I think would have been nice to see. But although this has just been one big rant the plot (exluding the romance) was actually pretty well done considering how short it was.

THE ROMANCE: The funny thing is I started watching this show because of the ship video I saw. It is the romance between Si yeon and Hae sung. And I actually really did not like it much. To be entirely honest I thought that it was pretty shallowy based. Like he didn't even like her until he heard her sing and then he's all like "I like you" "You are my one true love" "You are my music muse" and other bull crap. I understand that things had to move along quicker but that was too much for me. Their chemistry isn't even that good. I actually wish she had gotten together with Han Go Seok. So Si yeon is a bigger girl which apparently makes her the best person to bully. Stupid people. Anyone Go Seok is one of those people and I bitterly hated him at the beginning. But I felt like he and Si yeong would have been great together. He liked her for her and I just..... I am really disappointed I never got to see that play out.

KWON SI AH: It was really awesome to see her character growth throughout the show. She was such a shallow jerk in the beginning that it was nice to see her face what her sister had to face. Her growth was actually one of my favorite parts of this whole show. I loved how she wouldn't take crap from anyone--that was extra helpful in dealing with jerk bullies.

KWON SI YEON: I liked her from the start because of how relatable she was. And I was grateful for the confidence that she gained. She didn't try to change her appearance to make others like her better she just learned to accept herself. And I think that is an important lesson more people need to know.

BAN HAE SUNG: I did not like him. Like I mentioned in the romance section I felt like he was shallow and did not have a whole lot of character depth. I found myself rolling my eyes more than once at his constant claims of "love at first sight." Yes I know this show was slow so things had to get moving somehow but seriously? The amount of eye rolling I did had to be a crime....no one should be as aggravating as him. I think he has potential to be a good character but that would require him to obtain some depth......

HAN GO SEOK: I only have one question: why didn't we get to see more of him?! He was finally getting some character growth but then they PUSHED HIM ASIDE. I mean he was a massive jerk at the beginning to Si yeon but then he actually slowly grew to like her. He even apologized for acting so awful to her! He didn't just like her because she could sing well but because of her. I am still upset about this. I NEED TO SEE HIS CHARACTER GROWTHHHHH.

QUOTE: So instead of doing my typical quote from the show I will use this other one that I really like that's not from the show but I feel like it fits in with the message.
"In owning the parts of me that I so badly wanted to ignore and hide, I've dismantled the shame I've held for years, and began building self acceptance for myself in its place." (Lenea Sims)

SHIP VIDEO: (May contain spoilers) This is for the couple that I don't really like. However, it's here if you want to check it out.
